UL Mark (UL Listed & cUL Listed)
The Underwriters Laboratories’ UL symbol means the product, after a series of testing, meets UL’s nationally recognized Standards of Safety. UL is a non-profit organization dedicated to public safety and Bulb Daddy is proud almost all of our products meet their stringent testing and safety standards.
ETL Listed
Intertek’s ETL Listed symbol is proof the product has been independently tested and meets the applicable published standard. The ETL mark shows the product’s compliance to North American safety standards. Intertek is one of the world's largest Testing, Inspection and Certification companies and Bulb Daddy proudly displays the ETL mark on our products that meet their demanding testing standards.
FCC Declaration of Conformity
The FCC mark is a certification mark used on electronic products manufactured or sold in the United States which certifies that the electromagnetic interference from the device is under the limits approved by the Federal Communications Commission. All Bulb Daddy products carry the FCC mark.
Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Compliant
RoHS Compliant means the product is lead-free and restricts the use of six hazardous materials often found in electrical products (Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium, Polybrominated Biphenyls, and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers). Design Lights Consortium (DLC) Listed
The Design Lights Consortium promotes quality, performance and energy-efficient commercial sector lighting solutions through collaboration among its federal, regional, state, utility, and energy efficiency program members, luminaire manufacturers, lighting designers, and other industry stakeholders throughout the US and Canada. The DLC listing grants consumers access to rebates through their local energy supplier. Almost all Bulb Daddy products are DLC listed and approved.

The LED Lighting Facts label further cements Bulb Daddy’s commitment to supporting improvement in the quality of LED products. The label was created to promote the accurate and consistent reporting of LED product performance claims and requires important information to be presented in an easy-to-read format, much like Nutrition Labels on food products. LED TUBES, LED FIXTURES, LED RETROFIT KITS and LED HIGH POWER LAMPS
BUY LEDS warrants to the original purchaser of its LED Lighting Fixtures, LED Lamps, LED Tubes, LED Retrofit Kits, LED High Power Lamps and LED Drivers to be free of defects and material workmanship for specified warranty listed for each item group "LED Lighting Fixtures, LED Lamps, LED Tubes, LED Retrofit Kits, LED High Power Lamps and LED Drivers" starting from the date of purchase to the original purchaser.
LED Tubes: 5 year Limited Warranty
Under this warranty LED tubes are to be operated NO MORE than 10 hours per day with a maximum of 3,650 hours per year. In case of failure within 1 year from date of purchase, Buy Leds will replace or repair the item to the original purchaser at no charge. If failure occurs after 1st year from the date of purchase, based on the inspection report and the cause of failure the product will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the manufacturer with same or equal value product if found that the cause of the defect was caused by workmanship or defective components. In case of replacement a Pro Rated warranty formula will apply.
LED Fixtures, LED Retrofit Kits and LED High Power Lamps: 5 year Limited Warranty
Under this warranty: In case of failure within 5 years from date of purchase, Buy Leds will replace or repair the lighting fixture, retrofit kit, high power lamp (excluding the LED driver) to the original purchaser at no charge. Under this warranty the LED driver is warranted for 1 year. After 1 year, in case of fixture replacement a Pro Rated warranty formula will apply.
LED Drivers: 1 year Limited Warranty:
Under this warranty in case of failure within 1 year from date of purchase, Buy Leds will replace or repair the item to the original purchaser at no charge. Based on the inspection report and the cause of failure the product will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the manufacturer with same or equal value product if found that the cause of the failure was caused by workmanship or defective components.
For warranty claims, contact Buy Leds at 775-826-6222 for instructions on product return. Upon return and evaluation of merchandise Buy Leds will determine the cause of failure. Based on the inspection report and the cause of failure the product will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the manufacturer. Warranty will be denied if it is determined that the product has been mishandled or misused under the Terms and Conditions of this agreement.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Products) must be properly wired and installed by a qualified electrician(s) in compliance with the electrical code. LED Products must be installed in lighting equipment designed and approved for the intended application and in environmental conditions (temperature, humidity and air movement) within the normal operating range. This warranty will not apply to failures caused by acts of God, terrorism and/or vandalism or the event of conditions demonstrating abnormal use or stress such as operating temperatures in excess of maximum rated temperatures, under/over voltage conditions, power line surges, lighting damage, excessive switching cycles or extended operating hours, dirty or cracked sockets, improper lamp installation, accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, bug infestation, improper maintenance, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, faulty installation or damages and failures which are caused by products NOT supplied by the warrantor. The foregoing warranty provisions are exclusive and are given and accepted in lieu of any and all other warranties. NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FINES FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS MADE OR IS IMPLIED.
LIMITATION of LIABILITY: Buy Leds will not under any circumstances whether as a result of breach of contract, breach of warranty, tort, strict liability or otherwise be liable for consequential, incidental, special or exemplary damages including but not limited to, loss of profits or revenues, loss of use of the product or any other goods or associated equipment to damage to any associated equipment, cost of capital, cost of substitute products, facilities of service, down time cost, any labor cost to service, install and uninstall the product or claims of claimant's customers. Buy Leds reserves the right to modify this warranty from time to time. Any modification of this warranty shall be effective for all orders placed with Seller on or after the effective date of such revised warranty.

Warranty and Limited Liability Responsibility
Seller warrants to the purchaser that goods sold by the seller to the purchaser will be covered as expressed by the Manufacturer's warranty.
Seller makes no warranties to the purchaser, written or oral, express, implied or statutory, in any manner or form whatsoever, including but not limited to any merchantability or fitness for any particular use or purpose, which are hereby expressly disclaimed.
Seller shall, as the purchaser's sole remedy, replace, or at the Seller's sole option, issue to the purchaser a credit for an amount not to exceed the original purchase price paid by the purchaser to Seller for the affected goods.
IN NO EVENT SHALL SELLER BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT, FOR ANY LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, INCONVENIENCE, COMMERCIAL LOSS, LOST PROFITS OR SAVINGS OR OTHER INCIDENTAL, COSTS RELATING TO INSTALLATION OR RE-INSTALLATION, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE SUCH PRODUCT TO THE FULL EXTENT.
